The short version
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracker on these pages.
The sections below explain what cookies are, the few technical things this site and the PartsManage application do use, and what will change if we ever add analytics.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember something between pages or visits — that you are signed in, for example. Related technologies such as local storage work similarly, keeping small amounts of data in your browser.
Cookies are usually described as either strictly necessary — the site cannot work without them — or optional, which covers analytics, personalisation and advertising. Optional ones require your consent.
What this website uses
These marketing pages set no cookies of our own. Nothing you do here is tracked across sites, and nothing is used to profile you.
The page does load two kinds of file from outside services:
- Fonts from Google Fonts.
- Code libraries (Bootstrap and GSAP) from jsDelivr and cdnjs.
Loading those files means your browser contacts those providers, so they can see your IP address, the page you are on and your browser type. They do not set cookies on this site. If you would prefer to avoid even that, a browser extension that blocks third-party requests will stop it, and the pages will still work — only the fonts will change.
The demo form sends nothing automatically. Your details go nowhere until you press the button, which hands them to WhatsApp for you to send.
What the PartsManage application uses
Inside the application — the part you sign in to — we use a small number of strictly necessary items:
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in as you move between screens, and signs you out when you leave.
- Local storage for your working preferences: the shop you selected, your language choice, and unsaved drafts so a dropped connection does not lose your work.
These cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in, and they are not used for tracking or advertising. No consent banner is shown for them because none is required.
If we add analytics later
We may one day want to know which pages are useful. If we add any analytics or marketing tool that sets optional cookies, we will:
- update this page before it goes live;
- show a consent banner that lets you accept or refuse, with refusal as easy as acceptance;
- set nothing optional until you have agreed.
Controlling cookies yourself
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. The settings are usually under Privacy or Site settings in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox, and most browsers also offer a private window that discards everything when you close it.
Blocking cookies entirely will stop you staying signed in to PartsManage, because the session cookie is what keeps you there.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you want to know exactly what a particular request does, ask us — we will give you a straight answer.
